Jacek Olczak became Chief Operating Officer at Philip Morris International (PMI) in January 2018.1 He was previously appointed Chief Financial Officer at PMI in 2012, succeeding Hermann Waldemer.2
In September 2017, the tobacco company announced that Olczak would take on the role as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 January 2018.3

Long-Standing Career with Philip Morris

Olczak joined PMI in 1993 as Manager Finance and Administration, and has held several leadership positions, including:

  • Chief Financial Officer (2012)
  • President European Union Region (2009)
  • Managing Director for Germany and Austria (2006)
  • Managing Director Poland and Baltic States (2004)
