Rosemary Brook describes herself as a “Leading PR professional with extensive experience of communications strategy ad issues/crisis management for global companies and brands”.1

Relationship with the Tobacco Industry

Brook ran a public relations company called Brook Wilkinson that worked for the Tobacco Manufacturers’ Association in the 1990s and 2000s.23
Brook also worked for PR firm Edelman1. During this time, she also worked with the TMA and British American Tobacco.45
Brook was a Trustee of the Industry and Parliament Trust, and Chairman of its Executive Committee. The Trust says it is an “independent, non-lobbying, non-partisan charity that provides a trusted platform of engagement between parliament and UK business”.6 Imperial Tobacco is one of the Trust’s supporters.7
