Nicholas Scheele

Sir Nicholas Scheele was a senior independent non-executive Director of British American Tobacco (BAT) from 2008 to 2013, who served on the company’s CSR, Nominations and Remuneration Committees.12
Scheele was also on the Board of Reynolds American from May 2014 up to his death in July 2014.3

Background

Previously, Scheele was President and Chief Operating Officer of Ford Motor Company (October 2001 – February 2005). He had a long career with Ford during which time he held numerous significant positions, including Chairman of Ford Europe, Chairman and CEO of Jaguar Cars Limited and President of Ford of Mexico.
Scheele was knighted in 2001 “for his service to British Exports”.
