Appointed to Help Oppose Plain Packaging Regulations

Two months after Soderlund’s appointment, PMI also appointed Andrew Cave to a senior corporate communications role.
Public Affairs News commented at the time:

The two appointments come as the tobacco industry gears up for a fight over the introduction of plain packaging for cigarette packs, with a dedicated campaign group set up to oppose the measure.3
