Communications & Network Consulting AG (CNC) is a public relations firm based in Germany.
The company has offices in Brussels, London, Seoul, Tokyo, and several offices in Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and India.1

Relationship with the Tobacco Industry

In 2014, CNC listed Philip Morris as one of its major clients on the EU Transparency Register.2
In addition, CNC’s leadership has a history of working in the tobacco industry.
CNC’s founding partner, Christoph Walther, was the General Legal Counsel for German tobacco company Reemtsma (since 2002 Imperial Tobacco) from 1987 to 1995.3
Bernhard Meising, CNC’s Chief Executive Officer since 2015, started his career in Philip Morris’s Corporate Auditing section.4
